Paul Labarre, Typical 2nd District Court's perverted idea. Very weird idea. Take a man who is working for a child-care. His opinion is highly respected by judges, despite of a total lack of education in this field. He has never raised the child. Didn't have any successful relationship with a woman in years. Practically completely ignorant in the field became "A friend of the court". He can resolve his envy over parents having children by destroying those kid's lives and like in my case trying to help court to take a kid from loving parent and hand over to the abuser. Steven's whole family, emotional and financial security has been destroyed in order to maintain "visitations' with a child abuser , he doesn't know.
Unfortunately Paul pretty incapable to support himself also tends to be a friend of a lawyer, especially one who provides the visitations for him, means money. He has been involved in very controversial fights with the fathers. His great friendship with arrogant Heidi Webb concerns all those who know about Heidi's unethical lies. If Paul Labarre wanted to tell the whole truth to the judge he would say, that those visitations are not only harmful to the kid but also completely pointless. However Heidi is paying Paul to lie in front of the judge and Paul delivers.
If we lie to my grand-son, as Mr. Labarre would like my son to, and tell him that his Mommy really loves him, one day he will know the truth. One day my grand-son is going to find out that the person Mr. Labarre introduced to him as a loving mother is responsible for the fact that my granddaughter is not living with him, and Mommy was trying to sell her.
That his Mommy didn't care enough to take care of him.
That his Mommy lied in court to hurt his dad. One day he will face the biggest dilemma of his life. What to do to people like Mr. Labarre who chose to feed him lies for now without being ready to take responsibility in the future.
Paul Labarre has great respect for Heidi Webb..woman who is willing to risk Steven's life in order to cover up the crimes committed by Gilbert family. Heidi has worked with Sharon's brother, and her parents on the order which would completely deprive Sharon even right to call her two children she has been raising for 5 and 7 years, After 7 years consistently with Sharon those kids have been instantly separated, Sharon's family knows well that Sharon is a dangerous child-abuser. Never the less the same family and very same Heidi are ranting in front of judge Nash how desperately Steven who doesn't know Sharon needs to develop a relationship with a loving mother. Heidi is willing to risk Steven's life to punish Jack for disclosing crimes committed by Gilberts.
Maybe Steven will blame Mr. Labarre and maybe he will forgive him. Jack will help his son to find a good lawyer and sue Paul Labarre un till he is homeless and then take his wheelchair too.
